So much this with these guys. I noticed that little subtle dig at the time. I haven't muted them yet....but have the volume low and mostly ignore their constant bias chatter. The Porkchop Express said:
Somehow the play by play guy managed to downplay the best catch of the last ten years of the World Series. I've tried to be really arbitrary with the guy even though I know he works for the Dodgers all year, but last night his true colors were really out - called Atluve "the face of this franchise for better or worse", and talked how close Realmuto came to tying the game over and over.

- with 1-run lead
- 2+ runners on
- needing 5+ outs to win
- having pitched the day before
The only other pitcher in postseason history to enter in that situation & preserve that 1-run lead to the end was Pete Alexander in 1926 WS Gm 7

It's Bregman or Pena for position players unless something goes off in 6 and possibly 7.

All his talk about his daughter and perspective makes me think that he may hang it up after the season. Look at how he lights up talking about his family. Compare that to Brady trying to hang on and losing his family.
Good morning to everyone but Philadelphia, #RedOctober fans & “everybody outside of Houston.” They’ve heard you and they continue to hear all of you—and they still don’t care. even though game 5 2017 was exciting, I almost prefer a game like last night. Every play was critical.Ag12thman said:
One of the best low-scoring World Series games you'll ever see. Edge of your seat stuff and it wasn't a dream that we can out on top!

"They gave me the rookie treatment after the game," Verlander said. "They put me in the cart and rolled me in the shower and just doused me with all sorts of stuff.
"It was one of the best feelings in my career."
I'm definitely in favor of resigning him. I really feel like now that he's got that win under his belt, the pressure is off him. He's going to be regular season Verlander in future WS starts.
It was a great game, but I wouldn't mind a nice, easy, relaxing 12-0 win tomorrow.agdaddy04 said:even though game 5 2017 was exciting, I almost prefer a game like last night. Every play was critical.Ag12thman said:
