Fixed the link.
Yeah but when you remember the Astros have played 9 games in the last 26 days it's not so bad.Kashchei said:
This has been the most drawn out WS I can remember. It's been over a week since both teams clinched and we've only played a measly two games. Ridiculous.

Honestly I'm of the the opinion I don't want Luhnow back.
Yes he's a great GM but it's evident that he was not good at running an organization and being a leader. His workplace was borderline toxic and he was still deflecting and avoiding responsibility when he left. He handled the fallout extremely poorly.
IIRC didn't he file suit against the Astros after being let go? Eventually settled or dropped it but I'm pretty sure he filed it.
I wouldn't want that attitude around my organization if I were Crane.
Click has shown with the foundation JL built and the resources given by Crane a quality GM can run this team without the baggage someone like Luhnow brings.
Down from -135 yesterday or a 2% drop from 57.5% to 55.5%.EastCoastAgNc said:The Astros are 4-0 in the postseason when Lance McCullers Jr. starts the last two seasons.

Have series odds changed since the rain delay gave the Phillies a bone?
The majority of Bets are still on us, but the money swung big in Phillies favor. Sharps or big money is on them.Panama Red said:
I'd guess that is due to Suarez being better than Thor.
The Astros are facing a lefty on the anniversary of the greatest day in franchise history with the same starter from that night. I like our chances.Panama Red said:
Glad we have this good off season talk going. Not much happening tonight.
They should have sued Manfred and MLB.HarryRocket said:Ag_07 said:

So he didn't like being made into a scapegoat?

He reminds of Steve the Pirate's transformation here. Went from grungy and disheveled looking to clean cut.RED AG 98 said:
I was 100% in agreement with you! However in looking for stuff to watch I saw this interview last night (Chas starts about 1/2 way through) and he seems much more like a good dude than I ever would have imagined. Not at all what I imagined in my head based on his appearance and general demeanor on field.

I had not heard that. Do you know where suit was filed? Nothing in Harris County.
To add to this, Suarez has some nasty splits. Righties should have a huge advantage.Farmer1906 said:vs LHPcc10106 said:The Astros are facing a lefty on the anniversary of the greatest day in franchise history with the same starter from that night. I like our chances.Panama Red said:

Diaz to DH today?
Despite the extra off day, the Astros are sticking with Cristian Javier in Game 4. It’s the right move https://t.co/fM5vhb1WzD

With the schedule change, Astros-Phillies will now play on same day as Eagles-Texans. Thursday will be the 7th time both games involve teams from same metro area. It also happened last time Phillies were in #WorldSeries Nov. 1, 2009 (Game 4) vs Yankees -- Giants were at Eagles.

I want them to get to that bullpen early so bad tonight. If we win tonight and eat up a good portion of the bullpen, going to put a lot of pressure on Nola tomorrow.Farmer1906 said:To add to this, Suarez has some nasty splits. He goes away from his sinker and is more prone to walk guys. We need to stay patient tonight.
