.@latimesopinion: If there ever was a case for canceling the playoffs and awarding a championship to one team because it was so clearly better than all the others, the 2022 Los Angeles Dodgers would be it https://t.co/NDcIpAxPZG

Seattle fans are actually upset about the Astros social media account posting the sweep. That's charming extra soft. Definitely not ready for October baseball.
They should bring it up during the parade they are holding for getting swept.

Somebody already posted this tweet. The MLB postseason has not been "fair" since 1969 when both leagues decided to split into divisions. Are the '88 Dodgers willing to hand over their World Series trophy to the A's or even the Mets, who were clearly class of the NL that season? Doubtful.maca1028 said:.@latimesopinion: If there ever was a case for canceling the playoffs and awarding a championship to one team because it was so clearly better than all the others, the 2022 Los Angeles Dodgers would be it https://t.co/NDcIpAxPZG

Too many pages on this thread to scroll through, but some of the 'blue check' reactions to the Astros social media accounts is entertaining to say the least. There’s nothing worse than a classless, poor winner. Not to get all preachy about it either but kids should be able to look at their fav team’s social media accounts without the lesson being, “If you win, don’t be gracious. Instead rub the loser’s noses in it.”

That's not how it works. LOL
The way they are crying, you would think the series was 2-2 and they took us to the limit on game 5.the Mariners should not be allowed to lose that series by losing that game. not that the Astros did anything wrong, it shouldn't be allowed. the MLB or the government or the UN has to step in and make this best-of-7

I noticed that too. He's a rookie, he'll probably learn to stand in the batter's and admire his long fly balls. But I hope not. Springer might have cost us a game in the '19 series doing that on a ball that bounced off the wall.tjack16 said:Just in case you haven't watched it enough.#AstrosTopPlay presented by @MethodistHosp pic.twitter.com/ixB0HVcYQd

Overlooked but I love how fast Pena was out of the box. He was halfway to 2nd when the ball cleared the wall. He would have gotten a triple out of that if it hit the wall.

Thats because even he couldn't tell the ball was leaving. The ball did not carry all game and then out of no where what looked like a lazy fly goes 415 ft.

Jose Siri would have acted like the bat was his dick and taken a piss at the Mariners entire crowd as he ran around the basis. He would have also been 0 for 8 at that point with 8 strikeouts on 24 pitches.McInnis said:I noticed that too.
