My dad caught an extra point at the 1977 Bluebonnet Bowl vs. USC. We have never lost a Bluebonnet Bowl since!

As much as I hate Manfred, this rule is as old as the hills. If a base runner is hit by a batted ball he is out, the hitter is awarded a single.
