I said we got lucky tonight. Our record is obviously not luck.
That's not at all what I said or implied.Bregxit said:Harry Dunne said:

You are implying we get lucky overcoming Dusty's managing. If that's not what you are trying to convey you need to improve your writing skills my man.
Stanton on deck. The game could've turned out a lot differently and the entire park knew it was time to bring a new pitcher in, which eventually he had to do anyway.Ag_07 said:
How did we get lucky?
We had a 5 run lead, gave up 3 in the 9th, and the best guy available cleaned it up and shut it down?
I bet us "chiil out" guys will enjoy the rest of this season a whole lot more than you. If you can't be happy with a double header sweep of the best team in baseball, I don't know what will satisfy you.Harry Dunne said:
All of you "chill out" guys will change your tune when Dusty's feeble calls end up costing us the games that matter. The entire park could see Bielak was out of gas and we ended up burning another arm anyway.
The Yankees finish their season series against the Astros with a .151 batting average.

That's the lowest by the Yankees in a season against a single opponent in franchise history (min. 5 games). pic.twitter.com/3I6NwTXTPc
From the @astros: Following tonight's game, RHP Brandon Bielak was returned to the Sugar Land roster and added to the major league taxi squad.

I like to think Maldy had a big hand in this.EastCoastAgNc said:The Yankees finish their season series against the Astros with a .151 batting average.

after this weekend, the Mariners will turn around and be at MMP next weekend for 4 games.
and that will end the season series. Kind of strange to be done with the 19 games vs. the M's on July 31st.
seems like a good thing for the Astros

Finally home. Damn what a long and glorious day at the park. It was worth the CF MMP put on between games. Dunno if I'll ever get to see the Stros beat the Yanks twice in a day in person again in my life.

Just think, you could have easily stayed home to read multiple pages in this thread of why Dusty sucks… on a day when the Astros swept the Yankees.
This board is hilarious. We lose a few, it's all Dusty's fault and he's got to go. We sweep the Yankees and now he's the new Bobby Cox!12thMan9 said:
Yup Dusty sucks. He screwed up our pitching so bad that:
We're #1 in ERA.
We're #1 in opponents BA.
We're #12 in fewest HR's allowed.
We're #1 in bullpen ERA.
We're #1 in earned runs allowed.
We're tied for 3rd in saves.
We're tied for 3rd in shutouts.
Maybe he should keep screwing up.

I felt like I got to experience TexAgs at the juice box though. Lady next to us in the 9th when she saw Bielak come out started *****ing and when when Judge came up she said "see he's going to hit a HR now" and after he did she let us all know she told us so, and that there is no way we are going to win the game because of Dusty leaving him in, even after Montero came in.

Y'all need to stop acting like the Astros winning means Dusty doesn't suck.
The Astros are scheduled to land in Seattle at 1 AM Pacific time, which is 3 AM Houston time.
