It's not as black and white when you're up 5 in GM 2 of a doubleheader a 3 games series starting tomorrow.

Like I said...I'm not upset at it. He was trying to save arms and had the cushion to give it a go.

All of you "chill out" guys will change your tune when Dusty's feeble calls end up costing us the games that matter. The entire park could see Bielak was out of gas and we ended up burning another arm anyway.

If Dusty regularly made good moves in "single headers" I wouldn't be worried about it…but leaving guys in too long is just one of his bad habits.

I partially disagree. We need to make a statement against Seattle. We are 6-6 on the season against them and won 1 of 4 series against them.

We are 58% through the regular season and are 2.5 games off having the best record in MLB. At some point you must acknowledge it is more than luck.
of course it's not luck, Who said it was?!?!

we have a great roster and Dusty is a good dude with a lot of experience.

I also think you have to acknowledge that he's been run off immediately after 97-win seasons (and his former teams have taken the next step immediately after he left) for a reason. Managing is magnified in the playoffs.

I think his job massaging egos and keeping players engaged more than balances out his gaffes. Players play, coaches coach.
