Right, the Mets team we beat is not the same team they will have in the playoffs
Pitching wise. We'll see what bats they add at the deadline, but the offense might not be too different.

Doesn't matter who Id rather have, they have a guy who has been up all season in AAA they aren't going to add a guy who is unproven and have to lose someone all for a 10 day injury stint in June/July, if Alvarez was done for the season youd maybe see something like that but most likely we would see a trade first.

They're already going to lose someone when McC comes back plus another I believe when Whitley is done with his rehab assignments.

Lowest I'm seeing is Eddie Plank with a 2.08. Satchel Paige in the Negro leagues had a 1.29 but he only threw 35.0 innings that year.

Plank threw 268.1.
