If all the Philly fans do is boo, then they don't have their hearts in it. At a bare minimum, a true Philly fan is going to be throwing batteries and dumping beer on anyone that gets close. Since it's the World's Series, though, I expect their fans to step up their game.

I mean, I'm not sure baseball's even their favorite sport. I'd think most Philadelphians would take an Eagles Super Bowl or a Flyers Stanley Cup over a World Series.

They kind of remind me of A&M Football fanatics being so utterly convinced that the homefield advantage is somehow intimidating other teams.

The title for this article is pretty misleading. The overall message is that people need to get over 2017 and that people are naive to believe that most teams weren't doing something similar to what the Astros were doing.

Springer's game-tying homer in the 7th may be my single most favorite home run of all-time. Love that guy and wish him nothing but the best.


Same. The sound of the ball off the bat still gives me goosebumps to this day. It was the ultimate make up for your own mistake moment. He absolutely destroyed that ball.

Current line is Astros -135 and Phillies +115, Vegas thinks this is basically an even match with the O/U being 8. I think it goes under and if the Astros come out like they did last game, Syndergaard gets pulled early the Stros win

same,, craziest sports experience i'll ever have

watching the plays though, dodgers can whine about it all they want, but if you through 95 middle/middle, expect it to get hit a long way by a pro hitter (yuli, springer, altuve)

I hosted the Locked on Aggies podcast for a while. I was surprised with how awful the majority of those Locked On podcasts were. And then I got my first check and it all made sense. I stopped hosting it after that.

Dodger's fans still assume that the 'Stros were "cheating" in game five. Given how quick Roberts rolled through his bullpen in every game before that, the Astros' batters all knew what pitches they were gonna see at the plate without any camera/trash can assistance.

You wanna blame that loss on anything, Doyers, blame it on over-managing.
