THIS.
Winners suck it up and move on. Bad breaks/calls happen. Losers complain.
Wait, are you trying to say we didn't complain about this call and every other bad call we've had against us?!?! Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty livid with the national media and with fox's broadcast reaction. We've had far, far worse go against us and nobody even noticed. But this thread was pretty damn unbearable with the complaints.

Is there a way to see what our total +/- was over the course of the season? I feel like it's rare when I see one of those where we came out ahead.
Ok, so officially change the final score to Astros 8.2 Red Sox 2.Deluxe said:bearkatag15 said:Umpire: Laz Diaz

so is 5 days rest for Valdez and Sale normal rest time? or are they starting a day earlier than normal rotation?
I thought they normally took one more day to rest?

UMP RATING:
We were -15.6 in the regular season (third worst in baseball) and -2.2 so far in the playoffs (worst). Boston meanwhile has the best in the playoffs +2.4.

Also expected. I've literally stopped going there because not only do they not shut up about the Texans, but because they seem required to spin it in the best possible way, being the flagship and allDavid_Puddy said:Mr.Bond said:

Really? That's absolutely embarrassing. Even moreso than the Texans

You never know in October. You never know when That Moment will arrive
Only 2 HR in postseason history truly compare with Cody Bellinger's.
Jim Leyritz, Gm 4, 1996
Bernie Carbo, Gm 6, 1975

I'm entirely too lazy to go back and see what was posted during the game, but did anyone notice that Maldonado did not have his fingers painted/taped behind home plate last night?
Also, as an Astros fan, I have no room to talk. HOWEVER, there is something rotten in Denmark when it comes to the Red Sox and how well they've started to hit in the postseason.
In the regular season the Astros were the best hitting team with an average of .267 and a team OPS of .783. Red Sox were 3rd with a .261 average and .782 OPS. There's your baseline for the postseason. There should be offense in this series.
This postseason the BoSox are batting .300 with a .910 OPS. That is absolutely absurd and clearly 1st in the MLB. Astros are trailing with a .277 average and .788 OPS.
There is no way both the Astros and Rays have tipped their pitches that much.
