The report says they stopped banging after the CWS game in the regular season when their pitcher figured out what was happening, and that it evolved to include other methods of relaying. I did not see details on those other methods or if/how they might've been communicated during the playoffs.
Thinking back though....if both teams were stealing signs....the way game 5 of that series happened makes a lot of sense. I obviously don't know anything, but that game was something else.
Either way, my understanding is that this stuff was much more like college athletes getting paid under the table than an exclusive travesty.

I was driving home last night and the radio was on 790 and the azz clowns that were on the (9:30ish) Fox Sports Radio….absolute trash.

2. Then start talking about how the Giants were up with a chance to blow the game open…and I bet they weren't doing it by cheating. Riiight the team that was supposed to be dead last and has a 36yr old SS who's playing the best season of his life sounds totally up and up

Was wondering if maybe we could snag him for a 2/$30mm type of deal. Or maybe he gets to the end of the free agency period with no bites on a long term deal and is willing to do a 1 year prove-it deal. We could manage his innings, give him access to our baseball nerds and tone down his chest pounds a little. Could be a win-win.

So, can forearm tightness/pain come from anything other than ligament damage? A pitcher doesn't typically pull a forearm muscle, do they? I know we'll find out more today but I can't stop thinking about this. Having Chris Paul injury flashbacks.

That is if we don't blow our load on Correa.
I think the model we need to use to convince Correa is what Arenado got. 8/260 M, front loaded, opt outs after year 3 and 4. We'll probably just need t increase everything by about 10-15%.

Yes it can be. Could be common flexor tendons or muscle strain but the ligament is a real concern for pitchers.
