So, IF we handle the Sox today, do we like going against the BoSox better than Tampa? I'd love nothing more than to get revenge for the 2018 ALCS.

sticky stuff is back! Or at least spin rate is. Hard for me to believe it has recovered this much without pitchers going back to the Spider Tack (or related substances). https://t.co/WXGUYbekSN pic.twitter.com/fPLLps8YVP

Hopefully they bring Lynn in after Rodon.Farmer1906 said:
Rodon's avg fastball on July 18 - 97.0 MPH and his last start - 90.9 MPH.
Add in the fact he throws it a ton (58% on the season, more in the 2nd half) and we hit the heater well, I think we can run him off early today.

Carlos Correa on Tepera situation: "Honestly, I've got no thoughts. We're ready to play Game 4... I'm not getting into it right now."

It's probably something new. Something less sticky but legal enough.
Correa on the playoffs: "I cherish these moments, I love these moments. I try to find the inner calm where I focus even more and I don't try to do too much in key situations. It seems to work out and hopefully I can do that today."

I was thinking there has to be a few places to hide the stuff that the umps aren't checking. I also remember Blummer talking about how he had played with some sticky stuff on his glove or something that his pitchers always appreciated. Maybe they just moved it to the catcher or something.

Are pitches tracked in the post season like on Baseball Savant? I was curious the other day and checked the site but it looks to have stopped tracking at the end of the regular season.
Can you say if it was somebody whose team is still in contention? I thought umpires had the right to check and eject position players too if they suspected anything.CoachRTM said:redline248 said:

This is going to sound a little ridiculous, but I know one of the guys who helps police this for the MLB (not for the Astros, though)
He found sticky stuff a few weeks ago on the inside of the catcher's shin guards. He told me who the pitcher was, but I'm not going to potentially out him.
Dusty Baker said Jose Urquidy is available out of the bullpen today. But not Framber Valdez.

Carlos Correa (@TeamCJCorrea) on his day off yesterday: “I was in the room pretty much the entire day, just chilling, resting, getting ready for today. Ate pizza, deep-dish pizza, which I love. Every time I come to Chicago I got to have one. Just enjoyed the day with my family.” pic.twitter.com/Xned3SgvBQ
