Astros had lowest swing & miss rate in MLB at home at 4.6 percent.

Also lowest on the road at 4.9 percent.

It's easy to cast cheating accusations, but numbers don't seem to really back it up. They swung & missed about 0.9 times more per game on road than at home.

The problem is being able to prove it. If they do not have any proof that it happened then all you are doing is looking bad for trying to dirty other teams. If they come out with proof then I agree with you.

Baseball is a transient sport. Guys go from one team to another. They know what goes on. But it's like pro wrestling, they don't want to expose the business. I mean, we had Beltran and
McCann who had previously played with the Yankees. The reason McCann went to the mound so many times in game 4 against the Yankees in 17 was because he knew he was being spied on. The players don't want to break kayfabe and expose everything. Every time a player hints at stuff being wrong across the board, they come out and publicly apologize. Camaniti told the truth years ago and was shamed. Joey Votto walked back his claims because it exposed too much. People just need to understand that this stuff goes on in every sport. If you want purity in sports, watch a kids t ball game because it degenerates after that.

For a four year FA, Reddick is a real one. Can't question his love for Houston.

They need 63 umps from the WC through WS. It's 9 series and 7 umps each. The only reason to reach that far down in the pool is the union is protecting bad guys and giving them plum gifts because they have been around a while. I don't believe for an instance that MLB is making independent assignments.

Not taking the ALDS as a given, just like the way we'd match up against Boston in 7 game series.

But you are right, I'll get back to developing some counter hexes for that cane-wielding, White Sox Dark Sorcerer.

I do agree about a possible match up with the redsox is more favorable on paper than the rays.

But I don't want them to be nuclear hot either.
