Ran across this today on 12thman.com. Thought it odd. Hopefully we never lose a game but I know better. Looks like someone made a decision that players will not be made available to the media after losses. Would be curious to know if this was a sports information decision or from Coach Earley and the reasoning behind it. These guys are getting paid now and dont need to be shielded.

That quote isn't something said. What I wrote is an interpretation of the new policy. The notion paying someone means you should have access to them depends on what the contract says. I'm guessing in most cases it is not compensated access.

For coaches in ALL cases the access s contractual and therefore compensated.

Got it. I thought the quote of mine had been modified. The rest of what I wrote in response is factual and helpful to remember.
