Great interview. Correa talks advanced metrics, who he thinks is MVP (Ohtani), and Tucker not getting the love he deserves. Well spoken and candid.

Edit to add: looks like this version is shorter than the one that aired and doesn't talk Ohtani.

Have we discussed Brantley or Yordan in LF? Because its not a discussion. Yordan needs to be in the field.

LF: 41 games .352/.431/.739 OPS+ 212. 15 HR 36 RBI
DH 98 games .251/.315/.456 OPS+ 105 18 HR, 68 RBI

I want the big man engaged and playing him in the field does the trick.

It was a great interview with CC. He's dialed in, knows his analytics, said as hitters they will be aggressive but walks are important too. Loves Tucker hitting behind him (maybe that's why they didn't bat Tucker second today). Knows if LMJ in on his game after watching the first 10 pitches. Loves playing for Dusty and likes that Dusty and LaRussa don't like each other.

We need ace Lance today and the best chance you get ace Lance is Maldy back there catching him. This is a situation that is a no questions asked no discussions to be had. Maldy catches today.

For the playoffs moving forward I would like to see Castro get more full time PT but I doubt it happens. They went 162 games giving him very spare PT and I don't see why that would change now.
Maldy is 7-14 career vs. Lance Lynn, so it's really a moot point today.
