Yankees always looking for excuses........
What a freaking chode. Part of what makes baseball so great and various home field advantages is the fact that they're not uniform and the Green Monster has only been part of Fenway Park since 1912.

Of course, this grundle smear has never competed in anything and spouts off dumb takes for a living.

While it's unclear whether Stanton's shots would've been homers in other stadiumsESPN estimated that his second hit off the wall would have left 11 of the 30 MLB parksthey were indisputably balls crushed to left field. Anywhere else, a ball smashed 114 miles per hour to left-center in this scenario is at least a run-scoring double. In Fenway, not only did it fail to leave the park, but it wasn't even an extra-base hit.
What is he complaining about. The HR would not have left 19 (63%) parks. Doesn't sound indisputable to me.

Besides the fact that it's an absolutely asinine argument...

Someone should also mention to him that Stanton's 2nd ball hit off the wall only would've been a HR in 11 ML parks.

So yeah...He needs to STFU on blaming the Green Monster.

and Stanton would have had a double if he hadn't been a lazy ass

What a chode.

if not for the wall the first single would have been an out. And the only reason they were not extra base hits was because Stanton was busy standing at home plate watching his majestic non home runs play wall ball. If he actually runs like he would have to do in every other park he is standing on 2B.

Seems to me the Yankees owe the wall a debt for not making an out and they need to kick Gio in the ass for being a lazy ******* and not running either out.

Arrogant team being arrogant. He had to look pretty prancing around, only to realize he gave up a +1 on the base running. Reminds me of when they were taunting the astros only to cough up a large lead. Losers.

Sounds like a certain team should have played better during the season so this didn't matter....

So last night Cole gets destroyed and when they come out to talk to him - he has no fight, doesn't want to battle, and Boone says there was nothing physical going on. Instead he tells his coach and fellow players "I'm out". How will he be thought of from now on by fans and teammates - especially in NY. He did great for us in 18 and 19 but never will forget his tantrum after game 7.
Cole is New York's version of Scottie Pippen who also quit on his team when it mattered most.

50 minutes until we get to see the best postseason player ever, one Cody Bellinger.

In 54 games across 11 playoff series and 221 PAs he sports a sterling slash line of .189/.262/.368 with 72 Ks. His WC production is a sleek .286/.286/.286 with 2 singles and 2 K's in 7 trips to the plate.

Of course his playoff numbers pale in comparison to the MVP level production this year where he posted a .165/.240/.302. Yes that OPS of .540 was good for an OPS+ of 45. His bWAR was an outstanding -1.5. You know who has a better WAR? Robel Garcia did. His WAR was -0.8. Think about it. Robel Garcia was worth roughly 1 more win this season over a former MVP.

And he only cost the Dodgers $16,100,000.

Well Roberts just overthought his lineup. He took Chris Taylor out of CF and replaced him with Bellinger. He's giving up .240 of OPS and a net WAR change of 4.2. No chance this bites him. None.
