Split second decision. If he made the throw on the correct side of the plate and didn't bounce it, he cuts down the runner. Sucks he didn't make the play, but I can understand it. He's a baseball player trying to make big time plays. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.....

Yep. It makes it worse that it has been like ten hours long, trash umpiring, sloppy baseball all around and now I've stayed up late for this implosion at the hands of Joe Smith.

He's pulled it to make a play at home. It was a do or die play that had to be executed perfectly and he didn't.

I'm not even sure he could've turned 2 on that play.

The runner on third is fast, and was already making great progress home by the time he threw. Very low percentage shot at home, which then opens up another runner on third with one out.

Very dumb call. It's all on Yuli there even if he can't turn the double play.

His momentum was taking him toward second. It was hit hard enough for a DP. It was a poor decision. DP gets you out of the inning. One out at 2nd and you have a runner at 1st 2 out.

He just fully laid out for that ball with a lefty in the batters box, that double play was not getting made
