Well we've done a great job keeping the game close. Hopefully that's it for the Cooch and we can get ahold of their bullpen.

I have a bad feeling Dustys amazing run of pushing the right bullpen buttons might come to an end. Raley time, hold onto your nipples.

We won both series, 3-1, and finished 6-2 on the homestand. No complaints, but today felt like a wasted opportunity. The pitching staff gave us a gem and the offense couldn't do anything. It didn't help we were missing one starter and decided to rest 2 additional starters. Seems like that could have been handled differently when Diaz is your only decent bench player.

Won't disagree, but I don't mind resting guys on getaway days after wrapping up the series when you're headed into TB and NY.

If you're a younger fan, this is must watch baseball. Arguably the greatest beast mode performance in World Series history. Pretty sure that last home run hit a satellite.




And in fantastic fashion, bull rushing John Denny AFTER hitting a home run off Denny. Man I miss the days of non-wuss sports.

Go watch the video of Leon hitting in that link. He's extremely powerful in the lower body. He's only 5'10" 170'ish right now but he could easily add 15-20# in his upper body to really augment his power.

In a perfect world, either Nova or Pena would show up in 2022 as our SS of the future if we don't re-sign Correa and then Leon can play CF full time

But getting Leon ready at short just in case is a really good idea and I'm glad they are doing it
