There is just no way we are getting a hit against Kikuchi today. Not going to happen. I'm so sure of it, that if we DO get a hit off him today, then tonight I will take fermented malted barley and pour it into my mouth, and EVEN swallow it. That's how sure I am.

Faster with more spin. Slows pitch recognition and typically has just as much break and the break is a bit later as well - leading to more groundouts and less hard contact in the air. Old but accurate article.

Fairly unrelated but really enjoy listening to Ford and Sparky on the radio. I admittedly don't listen to many other broadcasts to be able compare but think we're lucky to have those guys in the booth.

I'd rather when we face lefties, Machete hits more.

When we face righties, Castro hits more.

Why not get favorable matchups when they present themselves.

Just like our other guys. If I am resting Yordan, Brantley, or TED I do it against a left-handed starter.

Didnt Zambrano no hit the stros in Milwaukee for a "home" game against the Cubs that was relocated because of a Hurricane or something?
