It was a good throw. It was in Maldy's glove before the runner got there.

The two 2 out walks hurt the most

No. That throw from that range should not have ever hit the ground or at least on one hop.
The walks were bad of course.

It was on target and beat the runner, but I wouldn't classify it as good. Throw from left also pulled Correa of balance a bit. Definitely could have made the out, probably should have.

As to the slide, the worst part looked like the 2nd contact when the runners other cleat got hung in the dirt and kind of forced the lead foot down and into Maldy's hand further.

Trammell was looking right at Machete's glove and jammed his foot into it, and then stood up on it. It was ****ing dirty.

I think it was 2 hops but an off balance throw from the grass behind SS that hits the mitt and runner slides into is a good throw.

If you should've made the out then the throw was good.

I rewatched it. It was one hop and Machete caught it about 2-3 inches off the ground.
