Biggio was a subpar CFer. If Altuve ever moves anywhere it's be LF after Brantley leaves. Even then I doubt it. This was Jeff 4 years ago.
The real question is whose overall calculation of value is most accurate? If you take rWAR they are close. If you take fWAR or WARP (26 vs 16 for Correa) Lindor is vastly superior. The differences are primarily in what each calculation uses for running and defense. Given how much we shift, I could see defense being difficult to calculate for Carlos and some metrics may under calculate his performance (such as his range compared to other SS based on being in a traditional SS location).Farmer1906 said:bearkatag15 said:So if he is just looking at those metrics then we can take $300mm off the table for him. He's not at Lindor's level at almost all of those.EastCoastAgNc said:
You sure about that?
Career fWAR, rWAR, OPS, wRC+
Player A - 19.4, 26.2, .833, 127
Player B - 29.2, .28.8, 833, 118
Biggio was a subpar CF at age 37 when he started playing CF. It's rare enough for a guy who has played center his whole career to still be there when he's 37.Farmer1906 said:

The clip is all I've seen, but looks like all runners were safe. Or that runner on third could have gotten the a-rod cheater treatment if he intentionally knocked the ball outcap-n-jack said:
So what happened? I didn't see anyone tagged out or anyone score.
