I don't think so. Jones isn't likely to be a mainstay on the 26 man unless there are injuries. We need some versatility, especially if we carry 13 pitchers.

Jason thanks you. Nobody has ever called him athletic
9th fastest catcher in baseball last year at age 33 (only one in top 10 over age 30) after having spent the last 20 years crouching ain't bad. Plays above average defense.

I mean he's not Bo Jackson but he's pretty athletic. I'm sure he can play capable first base.

No he doesn't. He needs to bat 4-5 times a game and that's it. He can wrap himself in bubblewrap when he's not in the batters box.

I'd be 110% fine with him as our David Ortiz. DH every game except for the World Series at an NL park where he plays first

Minor surgery that kept him out of all last year for a young guy with an injury history. When healthy he showed he's one of the best hitters in all of baseball. We'd be stupid to push him now for early meaningless spring games.

Let Correa and Lance give this team the edge they'll need when they go on the road this year. Even Machete has a little edge to him.

We need to get Bregman back to his 2019 confidence level too. That was sorely lacking last year.

Badass Correa and cocky Bregman would lead us deep into the postseason
