AJ was definitely under-appreciated.
He couldn't have stopped Verlander, Osuna and Yordan from getting hurt, but he would have finished over .500.
I don't know what Dusty does behind the scenes and he may be a wizard interpersonally, but as far as in-game decisions I reckon most of the posters on here could have done just as well or better.
It's a little bit like the Fran era where you want to team to win but you know they need to lose to make a change.
