I had no idea Thon played ten years after getting hit. That's pretty amazing.
The expected runs are 2.25 and an 84% chance of getting at least 1.Marvin said:
Juiced with no outs. Farmer or Mathguy, what were the odds of no runs there?

I think I've said before on here, I was at that game, field box 1B side. The sound was sickening. That was a career destroyed that night. Thon was on a trajectory to be a power hitting SS before they became a thing.cap-n-jack said:

Look no further than our extra inning record. And the number of innings there where we failed to score one run. They rules are designed to give you one. And we fail to plate it with regularity.Gap said:
The inability to plate runs that are there for the taking is mind blowing with this team. Not talking about the 3rd inning because it would have required a 2 out hit, but the 2nd inning with bases loaded and none out. It changes the game.

No way this game should be tied with the opportunities we've had and Urquidy being locked in.

I've seen high school catchers with more skills than the guy the rangers have behind the plate tonight.

Seeing Urquidy without a beard is throwing me off

The sad part is that a stale offense has been the norm for most of the season. It's just tonight, we're stinkin' it up with our "stars".
