Sounds about right. I'll never forget camping out for tickets at the astrodome and being continually bounced by the braves. Definitely makes you appreciate our guys now and their playoff experience.

To be fair, Bidge and Baggy has short series their first 3 times in the playoffs. They went out in the DS and those were best of 5. They didn't exactly rack up lots of ABs.

And Bidge gets a bit of a bad rap. He has several series where he was fine. He had OPS,s of .743, 1.105, .890 in three of his playoff series. Of course he also had some in the 200s and 300s but in a 3 or 4 game series that's such a small sample.

So, I didn't mind Walker Buehler until he talked crap to Bregman in his start at MMP and wouldn't back it up himself - he needed Joe Kelly to do his dirty work.

After that, I want the Padres to unload on him.

I don't know why every baserunnner doesn't steal with Sanchez catching on one knee.

No way that unathletic POS can get into a throwing position quick enough to throw anyone out at second.

This NYY Rays series is going to go 5 games. It just looks like a series that neither team can break away and get an easy win. That's fine by me. Let them burn their pitching. Cash keeps changing pitchers and sooner or later they will start to wear down.

If we get to the ALCS I would run out McCullers, Framber, Urquidy, Javier and Paredes. Paredes was a starter in the minors. Would add someone like Cionel Perez who I thought looked pretty good when he was up. It would seriously impact our bullpen, but would rather move Paredes into the rotation and have a one inning guy as the call up for Greinke.
