-Altuve boots the GIDP, error.
-Of course next hit is a double down the line one the first pitch.
-LMJ gets two strike outs.
-Lance gets to 2 strikes on White, but is over 100 pitches. Hangs a curve that White blasts for a 3-run HR. 4-0.
-8th inning Bielak gives up 2 runs after drilling a guy in the head

-Offense: Only Tucker and Altuve allowed to hit a double each. Everything else singles. No clutch hits to drive in runs. No Springer to take advantage of a guy that stays in the zone. Not playing our best players against a team we need to beat.

If you go back and watch the video from the AtBat app, it looks clearly like it went over the 3B bag, just the lower left corner.

At least looks that way to me.

I just don't see Dusty being the one that decided statcast was the tool to decision making. Is this a Click thing? Leftover from Hinch & Luhnow?

The Astros play with zero fire and passion outside of Springer. Altuve hasn't brought it this year, Brantley jogging out of the box. Bergman's a no show in 2020. Power numbers have cratered with a crap ton of warning track fly balls.

Just a ho him dud of a team.

And we only had Greinke and Alvarez for half the season last year. We also had a much easier schedule this year.

This team is just unclutch as shlt. Can't get a base hit with RISP until the 9th when we're down 6-0.

We've seen them no show for big series, big games, and big at bats. Whatever the reason in big spots they clam up and disappear.

I get resting guys around double-headers and occasionally during a normal season, but during this shortened season (especially with all the injuries) it seems stupid. Even more infuriating is the "let's rest the hottest hitter on the team" strategy. I don't think we've had a stretch where more than 2 hitters were really hot at the same time this year.

If Brantley is out of the lineup today, my head might explode....

Well Statcast indicates that that type of contact 3 times in one game can possibly have an impact on your hands so he'll need a day off just in case that manifests itself into a hand injury.

Crane fired them because they lied to him and didn't do what was told when he told to make sure we weren't caught up in anything like that.

Those relationships were never gonna work after that.

Well 2 knubbers. EV of 69.0 and 75.5. His last was 102.4. But yeah he managed two hits out of 3 as junk.
