If I was expanding playoffs I'd do 12 teams and set it up like the NFL

1-2 seed get bye
3-6 play a 3 game series

Then it's ALDS and ALCS like normal

IF it expands to 16 I would rather see:

8 teams per league
3 division winners get bye
4 plays against the winner of 7/8 one game WC (3 game series)
5 plays 6 (3 game series)

rest of the playoffs as normal

With 16 teams making the playoffs, a 3 game series to start the playoffs is insane. Too much variability in baseball. You'll likely end up with a league leading 40 game winning team immediately on the ropes against a team that won ~25 games.

Now if that team that gets screwed by the 3 game series happens to be the Yankees, I'm all for it.

i don't think west palm is open. i think it may be up to each player other than those at Corpus (that has a shot at being called up) to keep themselves ready.

Hmm...I think given the current situation they'd all be in one spot that's easily accessible.

And honestly given his past behavior Whitley better damn well be at a team facility somewhere.

So that gets me thinking...Can you call someone up or make a roster move if a player is deemed ineligible due to a delayed test? How's that work?
