Yea last year counted as his first year of team control but will 2020 count as his second? Wasn't sure if a game threshold had to be met to count as a service year.

He isn't getting time credit for this year. He had to be active like a week into the season to get enough time in for credit. Same is true for Urquidy.

All I can think is that this is a way to make sure no team has a "home field" advantage in the playoffs. All AL teams play in NL stadiums, all NL teams play in AL stadiums, and nobody has to worry about the Rangers playing at home for the World Series.cpsencik04 said:07ag said:

The other issue here is non standard fields. Some teams will get the benefit of a park that is pitcher friendly and some won't. It's not like a basketball court that's the same everywhere.
