generally speaking a 7-inning game favors the team with a weaker bullpen.MosesHallRAB04 said:
As best writer tweeting the Astros might postpone tonight.

you know the obvious question...would they still be doing this if there were 40,000 fans in the stands?
(waiting until just before first pitch to postpone)
I would agree. But the SJW nuts are crazy enough to do that.Farmer1906 said:W said:

Oh that would be a PR nightmare. Not a chance.
If a family drops a few hundreds bucks on tickets, travels to the game, pays for parking, drops another 80 bucks on grub and beer, only to not see a game. They'd never come back.

and if it's the visiting team...they might not care about the home fans

I figured we wouldn't play tonight. Since we've had 2 days off we are the only team that hasn't postponed a game to protest this week.

Actually before tonight like 1/3 of the league hadn't done it yet. Still 9 more haven't if Houston doesn't play.

On Jackie Robinson day. I mean come on.
This was my exact thought. Jackie risked a lot to play in an all white sport, trying to drive real social change. These guys aren't risking anything except some Twitter backlash. Real brave.bearkatag15 said:
It seems silly to do this on a day honoring the player that broke the color barrier in the MLB. Seems like playing today would be the thing that you'd want to do.
