First half offensive MVP? Gotta be Tucker or Yuli. I'd probably give the edge to Tucker (surprise!). He's 24th in the AL in OPS+ at 131. First player since 1979 to have 5 doubles, 5 triples and 5 HRs in his first 30 games. And he really helped ignite a dormant offense over the past couple weeks.

I'm kinda sad that we'll never get to see the true lineup of death. Can you imagine this lineup if everyone was healthy and firing on all cylinders?

It's a shame Shane Bieber is running away with the AL Cy Young award because Greinke and Framber would both begin the second half on the watch list. Greinke is 4th in the AL with a 200 ERA+ while Framber is 6th at 196.

Christian Javier is T16 in the AL with a 122 ERA+. Who is he tied with? Gerrit Cole (and Alex Wood).

Cole is rocking the 3.51 ERA after his Atlanta meltdown.

The worst part about a lineup of death is that an elite player has to hit 8th.

Tucker is the front office's first half MVP, because he is giving them great flexibility with the 4 pending free agents

Is it just me or have these 2 off days felt like a week?

I know it'll get asked, this was captured because someone left the pregame press conference stream running on the MLB website and caught the Mets GM having an honest moment about Rob Manfred.

2 things:
1) Rob Manfred is the worst commissioner in all of sports
2) Whoever left that Mets stream running is going to be filing unemployment tomorrow

Sorry for the language staff, if you want to take it down, go ahead, but the video is a good insight into the views of MLB GM's / owners on the guy driving the ship.
