With the entire NBA boycotting playoff games today... I think it'll spill over into the MLB. There are already talks of the Brewers boycotting.

I'm not saying whether or not they should... I'm saying I wont be surprised if it does given all the NBA news breaking just now

Politics and social justice have been part of sports for a long time. See Muhammad Ali. See Tommy Smith and John Carlos at the 1968 Olympics.

I don't know the answer to getting politics out sports.

I don't recall it being in the three major sports from when I started following them in the mid 80's until 2016 or whenever Kaep fell off his rocker. So about 30 years.

In this case, three major leagues are backing the players and putting together marketing campaigns. That's the difference.

Then they forfeit their season and don't get paid. Simple as that. They'll look like dumbasses protesting someone getting shot for grabbing a weapon during a police stop. Done talking about this on the Astros thread.
