That's pretty good.

Sampson (4.40, 1.40) v Nova (15GS, 6.01, 1.58)

On paper, it looks to be in our favor, however, I'm concerned about Sampson. I'm concerned that his arm has not recovered from the 109 PC game against Oakland. Gutsy game.

If that's a concern that Woody and Co. have, he should have a very short leash today.

With tomorrow an off-day, everyone in the pen will have a day of rest and they have not exactly been taxed recently anyway.

Houston won't go on a slide like they are now very often. Let's pick up a game.

He is saying it is not likely that he'll shut up.

Not sure if Odor has slept with his mate...or didn't call him the next morning... but the issue has nothing to do with baseball and is VERY personal.

He doesn't care if Odor hits 3 HRs in a game... he'll still complain that it was poor pitching. Even if the pitcher has a perfect game, outside of the Odor ABs.

He actively roots against Odor.

Except for his speed, DD is a lousy CF in every other way. He's always been inconsistent in how he reacts to balls of the bat. And his limp noodle arm doesn't even need to be mentioned.

There's not a place on the field where that arm is adequate. Even a first baseman has to throw better than that.
