You'd still have a west coast...MSFC Aggie said:

What an embarrassing half inning.

This series didn't expose our bullpen... our bullpen is what we knew it would be. A liability. I agree neither are MLB pitchers and neither should be on a ML roster.Grapesoda2525 said:

Our starters did a good job. It's unfortunate that the bullpen coughed up 2 late inning leads just as soon as we got them. We could've swept these guys if the bullpen was average. Our lineup didn't perform well against the Angels starters, but we still did enough to win anyway. It's on the bullpen really.
Dowdy and springs don't belong on a major league roster.
He is a ground ball pitcher, so defense will be key, IMO.wbt5845 said:
Jurado looked really good yesterday. That's the kind of performances I want to see this season. If he can be a 3/4 starter for is in 2020, that's be great.
Those are some big names, with some historically good seasons. However, not all of them are having career FA seasons.wbt5845 said:
Yeah, if Jurado is your #5 and he's pitching like yesterday, that's a good line up. Good enough, anyway.
2020 FA - Gerrit Cole, Madison Bumgarner, Zack Wheeler, Stephen Strasburg (opt-out), Rick Porcello, Jake Odorizzi, Alex Wood. First time we can guarantee no 100 F starts!
Kimbrel would be an exciting pickup.DallasAg 94 said:Interesting they are at 39.bigcat22 said:
That would leave a spot open if they are to pickup anyone after the June 2nd date.
Hypothetically, of course...
I don't recall us ever wearing that combo. I think some of the ladies might have color coordinated with the emblem on the jersey. ;\Ranger #007 said:
So how often have we worn red caps with blue jerseys? I don't recall seeing that ever.

Who are the teams to beat in the AL?
Minnesota has the best record, but I'm not convinced they are the best team.
NYY and Houston probably have the most talent. Both have significant health concerns.
NYY: Betances, Severino, Ellsbury, Andujar are all (60IL). Judge, Sabathia, Stanton, Tulowitz are on IL10. Among others.
Houston: Altuve, Springer and Diaz (Hammy). McCullers and McHugh (Elbow)
Tampa seems pretty solid?!
Oakland has lost Khris Davis, for now.
Texas has a lack of talent.
Think the AL is a toss-up for the next 2 months, or does Houston have enough talent to pull away?
