This is an unbelievable stat for one of the all time greats.
To be somewhat fair to JV.... He wasn't getting any calls on the edge at all, whereas Strasburg has been getting a wide zone all effing night.

I think for whatever reason his approach changes.
He doesn't have that killer instinct to finish guys and it results in his pitch count going up.

George was the third out in the 7th. We'll need several on base this inning to get him one more shot.

He's literally Kershaw but slightly more successful in the LCS
It's silly to think that he's been great right up until the World Series and then somehow he just magically and coincidentally hits the wall entirely because of fatigue.
