I'm all for it, like you said, for fairness and subjectiveness. The Atlantic league used it this year for a test run for lack of better words. I'll see if I can dig up the article I read about it. Some bugs to work our for sure using it.

Corbin coming in. Nats going all-in on this game. Pretty much means they're either going short rest for Scherzer and Strasburg or they're commiting to a bullpen game, which might just be suicide for them.

It absolutely has done something. They more we see bullpen guys, the better off we'll be. Rays and Yankees learned that.

If they really do put Corbin and we can score / work him, it could really hurt them if we can also work Strausburg tomorrow. We will see that bad bullpen at some point and we need to get to it early.


What I'm saying is that if you can't manage to score with RISP, as they've done throughout this post season, then you're in trouble when you're down 3 runs with 12 outs left.

They have done it all post season because their bullpen sucks.

Jury out on if it will work in a 7 game series.

We just have to make them pay for it. Make sure we out enough pitches on him so he's not available for game 2 or game 3.
