Can't say this enough. He threw 8 balls literally 1 inch off the plate. He's not just piping hangers down the middle

Honestly he just lives on the corners and if he doesn't get the calls and they dont chase it's not good. He's probably pitching right the way he wants right now

I'm withholding my judgement on the ump until we see how he calls the next inning. When Greinke can't even get close to the zone, he's not going to gift him the edges. Watching the zone online, the ump was calling it correctly.
