starting to remind me of our teams from 97-99. lost a lot of 2-1 and 4-2 playoff games. Looking at way too many strikes.

I'm not saying it's over but it sure feels like Yankees are peaking and Astros are not. You can't rely on pitching to win this series against this team....you need offense. Should be scoring at least 4-6 runs a game to have a shot. Hopefully they'll wake up but it feels like Astros going through the motion somewhat and not playing with same confidence they had at end of the season.

None of this ball conspiracy makes any sense to me. The logistics that would have to be involved for one team using juiced balls and the other not is enough for me to shake my head.

We're just not capitalizing and they are. It's that simple.

It's not a by-team thing. That's just fans venting about our terrible offense. But MLB's own data show the balls are different in the postseason (yet again)... that's what I don't get about MLB.

We played a lot of garbage teams at the end of the season, and outside of a few exceptions where our offense blew the team away, we had plenty of struggles against very mediocre pitchers on bad teams.

It was my biggest concern going into the post season.. our team can withstand Brantley, Springer, and Alvarez struggling but not all three at the same time

In the 2017 ALCS, our offense was kind of garbage. We won games one and two with pitching, 2-1. We weren't really competitive in the three games in New York, and finally showed some life back in Houston.
