So many batters swinging down on the ball for simple ground outs. Lots of looking at meatballs. Lots of swinging at bull**** outside. And lots of help from blue on sand wedge pitches.

This series isn't a matter of home field advantage. It's a matter of winning all the games that Cole/JV start. The Yankees are basically winning a "home game" tonight. We still basically have "home field advantage" despite tonight's loss.

Great pitching beats great hitting. It happens for other teams too. Look at what Anibal Sanchez just did - it doesn't only happen w CYA candidates.

Tanaka is by far their best postseason starter. We will get our runs. I'd still rather be us than them.

Grienke pitched well all things considered and the offense completely let him down. Just an absolutely pathetic showing on offense. Aside from the pitch tipping this offense had been completely silent all postseason.

He just doesn't look like the same guy, and he hasn't for about the last 4 weeks. Going back to Sept. 10th, he's hit just 3 HR.
