Had a professor who would do a review the night before the test, and when me and a few others showed up for the review, the Prof (huge Cubs fan) decided to push the test a week so he could watch the game in hopes his Cubs will finally make it to the WS, so we all went to the 41st Club to watch it...it was the Bartman game.

I find it hard to believe that Snitker, a lifelong Braves guy, pinch hit for McCann without asking him knowing that it's probably his last game.

I'm thinking McCann came up to him and said, I don't want the pity applause, we just lost 13-1. Or worse, he goes out there and the fans are indifferent because of the game and get no reaction.

Maybe I'm crazy, but the dodgers seem to hit the laziest looking fly balls that somehow end up as homeruns in the postseason. And the nats just cranked a much more well hit ball that gets caught against the wall.

Pitcher up to bat, trying to give an out to the dodgers to advance the runners. Opposing pitcher doesn't want him to lay down the bunt, so he won't throw strikes. And it goes to 3-2 and Strasbourg fouls out.


I don't miss the national league at all.
