They gave this team, Verlander and Cole a lot of props. Cole/Verlander are similar, and they both dominate as well. Papi was just trying to bring some hope to Tampa and their fans -- that is that the pitching will be somewhat repetitive tomorrow -- and not really change of pace.

What do you want them to say? No need to watch, the series is over? They are there to drive interest and eyeballs moreso than insight.

They're pretty good. They won 96 and sent Oakland home. This will probably be the best pitching we will see until we get LA (if we both make it) in the WS.

Hopefully. I still have a little burn from 2018 when we expected Cole to come in and dominate and he crapped the bed.


Anything is possible but I think we can all agree he's a different pitcher than he was two years ago.

They did it last night with an actual Cherokee Indian on the mound. I don't he appreciated it.

I also seem to remember a little bit of bad luck for him at Fenway. Didn't he have a ball bounce up and roll on the ledge of the matting against the wall that went over the OFs head? I feel like it also let a run score.

You do not need the VPN trick for the postseason. There are not any blackout areas.

Glasnow looked great. Even Josie said postgame his FB is basically invisible.
As for the broadcast crew yeah they were slobbing his knob but I think that's because tomorrow is gonna be the Gerrit Cole show. They're gonna be all about Cole and Snell is aight. They can't be all over our Ds every game.
