I tend to agree, but in this series, 5-game series, the looks aren't as important, as you can be facing different batters each time. With such a small sample size, don't mess with it. Get your game 1 win and give no momentum.

I, personally, would be concerned about that if Osuna was the typical 2 pitch closer. He can get through this game on fastball alone, really. Then, if needed tomorrow, can fall back on other pitches.

Only thing is, we saw the Rays kind of build a little momentum in that 8th. I like the idea of shutting that down and getting the game 1 win. I think AJ is more keen to get the game 1 win because the data backs up your chances to win the series when you win game 1.

The blue behind the dish had a nice game. Not perfect, but he didn't make himself known, was pretty consistent, and had a hell of a called strike chop.

I don't think Pressly necessarily laid an egg. He got the two outs, then just a couple of dinks that were tough and the one really good hit off him. It looks worse because the magnification of the situation, but I think he still comes out looking good next game.
