Agreed. He throws low 90s. Elite guys throw high 90s. Might as well have just kept Keuchel.

There are games when ZG fights to even get to 90 mph. That's great when you have uncanny movement. JV throws consistently 4-5 ticks above that even in early innings but he also has late movement. ZG isn't really missing enough barrels. In the post-season, you better miss a bunch of barrels. ZG is a decent 4th starter on a playoff team.

I love the way George plays but he needs to take a page out of the Brantley book and live to fight another day.

I know many will disagree, but his hitting is too valuable and he has been hurt in the field too many times.
