I ran the numbers last night. Homers allowed as a percentage of total hits allowed, the Astros are worst in all of baseball. If it's hit in play, almost 21% leave the park. Stunning given that the Astros actually allow very few hits.

I used to think Hinch was doing the same thing with White that he did with Bregman. Keep him in there and at the plate until he got going.
I can think of no reason now. It just doesn't make sense.

Wasn't straw on base like 3 times last night? I think I'd prefer him at short, Alex at 3rd and Yuli at 1st just to keep the whale shark out of the lineup.

I would not be surprised if Correa is used as trade bait this offseason for a major arm. I think the front office is grooming Straw to take over at SS and I could see it happening before Correa leaves in free agency.

Does everybody think it is a foregone conclusion that Bregs moves to SS?
