yes, he will. Yordan has good timing. The first 3 ballparks he played in his MLB career:

- Minute Maid Park
- Great American in Cincinnati
- Yankee Stadium

that's about as good as it gets. And the 4th MLB stadium he will play in? Coors Field

So we know that Springer is made of glass. How would the line-up look if he was used as a DH?

1B - Alvarez?
2B - Altuve
3B - Bregman
SS - Correa
LF - Brantley
CF - Marisnick
RF - Reddick
C - Chirinos
DH - Springer

Can Alvarez play first? He was put in LF vs Cincinnati but he's not going to replace Brantley.

Gurriel gonna be the odd man out.

I have posted it 2 or maybe 3 other times with no grand slam. This gif isn't "batting 1.000" but it's predicted all 4 grand slams this year.

Jake will go back to late-inning defensive replacement status once Springer returns.

Yordan is the DH in 2019 with an occasional start in left field.

Brantley-Springer-Reddick is the everyday outfield. Reddick will need to keep hitting or he will lose starts when Hinch wants to DH one of the infielders.

when Diaz returns something has to be done at 1B with Yuli or White. Running out of roster space quickly at that point.

somebody needs to be traded for another bullpen arm or starting pitcher

and when Correa returns in mid-July there has to be a player cut that has seen significant playing time in the first half of the season.

Was thinking the same thing. I get the 1st AB of the series where they gave him a huge standing O and the ump and Molina cleared the plate for him, but the 9th inning of a game they are losing with bases juiced is a bit much

Eh, it's one of their all time favorites returning home for the first time in a pretty long time. Pujols crushed it for the red birds for a long time, God knows the stros had to see more the their fair share of them.

Who knows the next time they'll get a chance to cheer for one of their heroes? I get it.

But it's OK for us to "B-G-O" the trash talking son of one of our former players?

Pujols won 2 WS for them. He was the best player in baseball for like a decade. He has something like a 1.100 OPS In 75 playoff games for them.

If Biggio or Bagwell had hit like Pujols in the playoffs we would have won 2 or 3 rings, and that's a fact.

I think he said he wanted the Blue Jays to sweep Houston that series. I wouldn't call that trash talking. I expect every MLB player to expect to sweep every series

I agree but can at least understand the Pujols stuff.

Everyone around here was all over baby bidge's nuts a couple of weeks ago talking about how classy it was. IMO you give him a nice hand his first time up and then hope he whiffs 4x.

I get it. I feel the same.

I want the Astros to win. I hope he does great vs the league and goes hitless against us. So I won't be cheering his HRs against us. Seems pretty normal to me.

He was cheered when we were up by 8 runs or so. Don't have a problem with that.

Him hitting a go ahead run in the top of the 9th is a different story.
