Truth is we have 3 ++ arms and a bunch of typical major league BP guys.

I think some of ya'lls expectations don't match the realities of baseball.

That being said, Devo has not been good for awhile now. I don't rember the last time he had a clean inning.

Would you take those guys? Luhnow will have to part with value to get whatever this team might need- and that's a high standard. That may take a JBB, Martin or similar. I don't see him parting with Whitley, Tucker or Alvarez... could be wrong, but that's Luhnow's MO to date. All else I expect to be on the table.

We got the bluejays to take Aoki in 2017 when we traded for Liriano. Granted it was a bad for bad trade, but trades like that do happen.

I wonder if Cleveland would be sellers at the deadline. If so could we buy low on Kluber? He had a very poor start then got hurt, but he should be back soon and he's got 2 affordable years left. Very similar to how Jeff targeted JV & Cole.

Now that is a bull pen assuming we can find one more starter. You are going to have to give up something of value to get someone ready to contribute now unfortunately.

What would Brad Hand cost? He is signed through 2020 with a 2021 team option.

Stats and numbers don't tell the whole story. Put that guy in high leverage situations and you can't trust him. Hell tonight wasn't even high leverage and he still sucked ass. Although the stats will show he only gave up 1 earned run, it doesn't show that he loaded the bases then walked in a run and then got pulled and Hinch had to use his best reliever in what was a 6 run game when the inning started. Dude sucks and should be left of the playoff roster.
