Finally got the TVs set up in the new house and not having to watch on my phone so I look forward to being back on here, I assume we're all taking the last few games well?

White has an OBP over .400 now however his OPS is still just .755. He has no power this year. All walks and singles

He's not going to finish the year with a 400 OBP and he's going to hit some HR. He's probably going to end up being more of the 20 HR, 750-800 OPS type of guy he has been over the course of his career.
"Tyler White sucks" takes are going to age about as well as they did last year.

I think White over performed last year. I doubt he'll match it, but I agree he's not terrible. He gets on base well enough. He has a little power. He'll probably be sub .800 OPS, but still be decent. I hope we could get more from the DH spot. It's one of the few areas where there is room to improve significantly.

White is good enough to keep his spot. He's not anywhere near an everyday player so it's good the Astros like to move the DH around to give guys a breather in the field. White isn't a position player at any spot on the field. But even though he wasn't hitting the ball he was seeing lots of pitches which speaks to his ability as a hitter. All that being said, he's keeping the spot warm for Alvarez.
