Dumb thought this early in the season, but I'm curious if Alex Cintron isn't as effective as Dave Hudgens was in helping our guys prepare.

Or, we're just starting off in a slump.

Reminds me of last season already. Everyone knew there was a problem, but the stat weenies kept explaining why our inability to hit in high leverage situations wasnt a big deal, because our OPS++WAR or whatever with the bases empty or in blowout wins was fine

That was because we had one of the best rotations in mlb history. Look at the difference in WAR between Springer, Reddick, Altuve, Correa, pretty much everyone BUT Bregman, between 17 and 18

Ok I have a confession:

I haven't seen us score a single run this season. Not one. 7 games in. This is the first game I've watched completely from start to finish.

I will cease all baseball watching until we get on a win streak.

I have a potential solution, boys and girls. The two games we have won, I've been off of work. I have also worked each day we've lost. I'm off Friday-Sunday. If we sweep Oakland, I'll do the math with the remaining schedule and my work calendar, then post the gofundme link. I'm happy to still work on the team's off days, and that will be taken into consideration.

Any postgame comments yet from the clubhouse? Really wishing this ump gets blasted and mlb will do something about it. Blum eloquently made a comment about the integrity of the game earlier while trying to bite his tongue.
