Why do they have umpires that are over 60 years old ?

If Exxon makes you retire at 65, surely you should be retired at that age as a mlb ump.

I love Alex's plate discipline and pitch selection, but it just feels like sometimes he needs to see the mistake pitches and swing. But it works really well for him, so it's hard to complain. Would rather him have the production he's having and miss some of those, but man, it would have been nice to see him crush that.

Frustrating to watch this incompetent joke of an umpire call a horribly inconsistent zone that apparently has gotten into the heads of our batters. Swinging at trash and watching grooves fastballs.

I love Texas Aggie sports, but I love Texas A&M more.

My biggest beef of that inning wasn't the strike zone, it was the foul ball call on Altuve's grounder. No way in hell he saw that. I saw two vivid replays and still couldn't tell if it ever got off the line. Let it play out then they can challenge.

Seems like the 1 base ump would have a better angle on that play than the home plate ump with Altuve partially blocking West's view of the ball.

Ump conference might have been appropriate there.
