There might be a degree of first time bias, too. JV already has a pretty nice trophy room.

Both deserve it, and CFM too. All 3 having phenomenal seasons on the bump.

I think the amount of Ks by Cole this year will be hard for Verlander to overcome in the voting, but let's see if Cole can make it injury free rest of way

Evidently, JV & a particular reporter don't see eye-to-eye. I applaud the front office for backing their player...even if it costs them a fine.

The reporter should be counting his blessings. I doubt JV was in a very good mood after last night's game.

As of right now Verlander has 1 more strikeout than Cole - Cole has a .02 ERA better than Verlander and they could both have 15 wins after tonight crazy how close they are.
