Maybe I can go find an empty room, record my lecture and just send out an email telling everyone to watch the lecture and not show up to class.

no I get it. But I would even put Reddick up there before Brantley. At least he has looked decent in the last month and a half.

Something seems very fundamentally or...just mentally, wrong with Brantley.

He swung at a pitch that hit him yesterday. He just seems like he has lost it for right now.

I dont think "spreading lefties evenly" is good enough of a reason to put a currently really bad hitter in front of 27 and 2.

Really hope to be wrong and he breaks out tonight.

So I've realized the key to this game tonight is jumping on this starter quick and putting some runs up before they start switching guys out of the pen.

For a team that depends on information, stats, patterns, habits, etc I don't think facing 6 guys out of the pen bodes well for us.

If we can knock a leg out from under them early when we know what we're facing we'll be in the driver's seat. Get em early, throw a wrench into their plan, and let JV do his thing

Totes agree. Facing so many different pitchers leaves us off balance. If we put up some early runs it's going to really help the bats settle in and also put pressure on each reliever. Hopefully that will lead to some mistakes and give JV some cushion to operate and confidence to put em down.

you know that is rather un-Hinch like to change the batting order, but I agree with putting the 2 hot hitters (Altuve & AB) next to each other.

as previously mentioned...he knows something is off with Brantley at the plate right now
