He's a mess at the plate but the last position player rarely gets ABs anyway & his defense could make a difference.

Probably part of the reason he's getting the day off. My comment was not taking him with rest into account. I was just saying I'd rather have Brantley in the line-up over Tucker if I had to chose. Glad he's getting the day off though. So far this season it seems like he's come out hot after a day off.

I've learned from TexAgs that Hinch is perfect in all of his decisions and any questioning of him means you don't think he's a great manager

And there is no such thing as getting Hinched

For the record, I love Hinch but times like this I really question his extreme conservatism...and sometimes not playing enough small ball to get the runner to advance when we desperately need a run
